Yesterday saw the beginning of our spring training with an intense day of conditioning. The day consisted of 300 yard shuttles, a push up max, and some technical work. The shuttles were both a mental and physical challenge for the team and I felt we responded well. We've got a lot of room to improve as a team with our overall fitness, but Chelsea Cody and newcomer Brittany Slyman really did a great job in leading the pack yesterday.
We finished up with about 20 minutes of general technical work with the ball and that was very encouraging-especially since all of the girls legs felt like jello.
