Capacity Crowds Fill TCU Sporting Events This Weekend!

For the start of spring break, outside of our normal 70 degree weather (thank goodness for that if you look at the picture from Thursday), it certainly didn't look like the start of a week off of school in the stands. Last night almost 6,000 packed the Daniel Meyer Coliseum (DMC) for a great men's basketball game in which the Horned Frog men battled to the end against the #24 ranked BYU team on senior day. For an arena that doesn't sit much more than that, what a great atmosphere!

Then you throw in over 4,500 that packed Lupton Baseball stadium yesterday and today, as the Horned Frog's took 2 of 3 from the #2 ranked team in the country, the Ole Miss Rebels. Congrats to the baseball team as this was the biggest series win in the history of TCU Baseball. This is what big time college athletics is all about! Being a part of a Top 25 athletic department, playing in front of big, loud crowds is awsome, and playing against the best the nation has to offer.

Last year we ranked 11th in the country in attendance with crowds of over 2,000 ourselves, so we definitely know what its like to have that atmosphere!
