Welcome the newest Horned Frog!

TCU women’s soccer head coach Dan Abdalla announced the signing of Dixie Kurrus Friday, becoming the fourth signee of the 2011 signing class for the Horned Frogs. “Dixie is a very dynamic and versatile player that can attack you from the backline,” Abdalla said. “She will do well in our program and I’m excited to see how she will help us improve and compete for championships.”Kurrus, an Argyle, Texas, product, comes to Fort Worth after splitting her high school career between Argyle High School and Coram Deo Academy, while also suiting up for Dallas Solar ’93. Kurrus served as Argyle’s leading scorer with 18 goals in her sophomore season, the program’s first year as a UIL-approved squad. In 2009, Kurrus was a member of the ODP North Texas State Team and was a National Championship finalist. She also earned invitations to train at several regional camps.
