Baseball Home Series


The TCU Horned Frogs will open a four-game homestand Tuesday night when they play host to cross town rival, UT Arlington. First pitch at Lupton Stadium is set for 6:30 p.m.


TCU tallied its first sweep of the season and moved to 4-0 on the road.• The TCU pitching staff limited Texas Tech to 12 hits in 27 innings pitched and allowed it to score in just two innings (the fifth on Saturday and the ninth on Sunday).• Through the first eight games TCU had just 70 hits. The Horned Frogs tallied 45 hits in the three games against Texas Tech.• Kyle Winkler dominated for the second week, moving to 3-0 with a solid performance on Friday. He has yet to allow an unearned run in 22 1/3 innings pitched.• Jason Coats broke out of a slump with seven hits, including two home runs and six RBIs, against the Red Raiders.
