Headlining TCU's 36 Academic All MWC honorees were 13 members of the TCU Women's Soccer team, marking the top group among TCU's five fall athletic squads. To be eligible for selection, student-athletes must have completed at least one academic term at TCU while maintaining a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, and be a startefr or significant contributor to their team. The following are the members of the TCU Women's Soccer team named to the Fall 2009 Mountain West Conference Academic All Conference Team:Jordan Calhoun, Chelsea Cody, Jenna Hayes, Lizzy Karoly, Cheryl Martin, Alex Mechalske, Michelle Nguyen, Katie Runyon, Kaitlyn Shelledy, Jackie Torda, Kelsey Walters, Nikki Wilbur, and Chelsea Wilgenburg.
The women's soccer program was recently recognized for the fourth consecutive year with the NSCAA Team Academic Award.
