Junior Lizzy Karoly picked up her second Mountain West Offensive Player of the Week Honor. She had the equalizing goal versus Rice Friday night and then had a hat trick in the first 15 minutes of the match versus ETSU on Sunday. On the season Karoly has 6 goals total!
We also as a team moved up in the regional rankings to #6 by the NSCAA and #10 by Soccer Buzz.
On the national scene, Lizzy Karoly and Jordan Calhoun are tied for 30th in the NCAA in points per game at 2.00. Calhoun is 15th in the country in goals per game, while Karoly is 30th in the same category. Karoly is also tied 16th nationally for points in a single and tied 6th nationally for goals in a single game.
Goalkeeper Kelsey Walters is also in the national rankings, with the 24th best goal against average in the country and 20th in save percentage.
