7 Frogs Receive Mountain West Conference Scholar Athlete Awards

Seven members of the TCU Women's Soccer Team were awarded the Mountain West Conference Scholar Athlete Award along with 44 other Horned Frogs. The seven recepients are the most from any TCU team. To receive the award student athletes must have completed at elast two academic terms while maintaining a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher and participated in varsity competion during the 2008-09 academic year. The award is the highest academic honor bestowed on student atheletes by the conference. The members of the team that received the award are: Chelsea Cody, Kelly Faerber, Courtney Johnson, Hannah Kunnemann, Cheryl Martin, Julia Slater and Jackie Torda. Congrats to these members of the team for their outstanding efforts in the classroom. This year was another great year for the Horned Frogs as the team finished the year with a GPA of 3.33. Great job!
