It is the last weekend before pre-season starts and everyone is getting excited. Wednesday August 5th will be our first day out on the field and we cant wait to get going. The Max is cleaned, new nets are up, equipment is in, and the players are all arriving!! As coaches we can't wait to see all the girls and get straight into training as we know they all have worked hard over the summer with the fitness program that the Doc gave them. With some new talented faces in the squad we feel that the 2009 season could be an exciting one. We have a very challenging home schedule, including the Mexican National team, so if you get the chance to visit Garvey-Rosenthal Soccer Stadium you are going to be treated to some of the best women's soccer in the country.
We hope everyone is having a great summer and if you are in training we hope it is going well.
