So this week is homecoming for TCU and it's a big week for the entire university as we welcome back thousands of alumni and friends to campus. I've only been at TCU for 4 years now but I've been amazed how when you mention "TCU" anywhere in the country it's one of those unique schools that automatically brings recognition and respect. As a private school with a 14:1 student:faculty ratio and a top 25 athletic department, we truly are in unique company with just a handful of equal schools-Notre Dame, Boston College, Northwestern, Miami-a pretty good list.
We've got a big conference game versus defending conference champs UNLV Friday, but there's also our Volleyball team with a nationally televised game Thursday (the team is sitting at 16-5). They'll have a packed house of 1,000 people for the match. We're averaging 1,200 fans a game and should once again have a great turnout for senior night!
There's also our football game versus Wyoming on Saturday. Our team is ranked #15 in the country right now, so it's sure to be an exciting game.
On top of that, there's a homecoming parade, FrogFest a huge carnival and the crowning and Mr. & Mrs. TCU. These are the things that make such a great college atmosphere here at TCU!
