Random Thoughts from the Last Couple of Days

It's been a crazy couple of days so wanted to just leave some random thoughts as we get ready for a big match tonight versus Utah.

Thursday, 1,600 fans packed our soccer stadium for a noon kick-off against BYU. It was one of the most exciting matches I've been involved with and went both ways, end to end. BYU got a late goal to win the match 1-0, but the atmosphere was electric. It was like a heavy weight championship fight and I was proud of how our team stepped up defensively to hold one of the top strikers in the country to only 2 shots. I think a rematch of this game in the conference tournament would certainly be worth the admission price....

Thursday night saw our football team beat up on #8 BYU in front of a packed stadium. TCU was ranked #24 and will certainly move up significantly...

College football is definitely one of the best aspects to college life as a student and we've got as good of an atmosphere here at TCU as anywhere. Thousands of tailgaters, a firework pre-game show and a top 25 team. The spirit it instills lasts a lifetime...

Our football game was so good Thursday night, it kept my 2-year-old son Zak, glued to the game both live and then we left because it was well past his bed time, he wanted it on the TV as the game was broadcast live on national TV...

Saw the new Nike commercial featuring TCU Alum & NFL MVP Ladanian Tomlinson. It was great when they showed him coming out of the tunnel in his TCU uniform.
