Frogs battle in Double OT thriller

Friday night at Garvey-Rosenthal stadium the TCU Horned Frogs battled the Texas Tech Red Raiders in a double overtime thriller in front of a packed stadium with nearly 2,000 fans in attendance. The frogs came back from a 2-0 deficit in the first half by a goal scored by Jenna Hayes her first on the season assisted by Jordan Calhoun and Chelsea Cody. TCU again was able to come back and tie the game with goals from Lizzy Karoly and Katie Taylor in the second half sending the game into a 3-3 draw and overtime. The start of overtime saw the frogs see most of the action and with 30 seconds left in the the final overtime Texas Tech scored the game winner. It was the first lost to Texas Tech in over 2 years, the loss was in front of the fifth largest crowd in stadium history.
