For the match, the Frogs recorded a 6-5 advantage in corner kicks, including a 4-1 mark in the second half. TCU was led on offense by Cody who posted three shot attempts, while Calhoun chipped in with two.
TCU netted two first half goals, but it wasn't enough as the Horned Frogs dropped a 3-2 decision to Denver on Sunday afternoon at the Colorado College Invitational.
Following a goal by DU's Lizzy Carlson, sophomore Kristen Halverson tied the match at 1-1 in the 11th minute of the first half at Stewart Field. The goal marked Halverson's first goal in a Horned Frog uniform. Calhoun, a sophomore from Norman, Okla., knotted the contest at 2-2 in the 40th minute off assists from Kaylie Garcia and Nguyen on a corner kick. The goal, which was Calhoun's fourth of the season, moved her into sole possession of No. 5 all-time in career goals scored with 19. In a back-and-fourth contest, TCU held a 7-4 advantage in corner kicks, while totaling 12 shot attempts. On offense, Calhoun led the Horned Frog attack, connecting on four shot attempts, including two on goal. Walters saved three shots on Sunday, while Campbell stopped four.
