Saturday night the horned frogs battled against the top team in the conference, undefeated Wyoming. It was a track race early on in the game both teams going side to side, in the 37th minute the horned frogs fell behind off a free-kick shot which took a wrong turn off a horned frog and into the goal. The second half was all TCU out-shooting the Cowgirls 11-2 and maintaining possession on Wyoming's side of the field. Chelsea Cody scored her first career goal in the 89th minute, a one touch volley that sailed into the goal bring TCU to even terms with Wyoming. Cody was swarmed by all eleven players on the field after the goal. In overtime the horned frogs dominated play until a fast break by Wyoming sealed the loss.
TCU now travels to Utah and BYU this week, games on Thursday and Saturday. You can follow the games on the internet where there will be live broadcasts.
