Freshman Kaitlyn Reynolds netted a goal in the 83rd minute, but it wasn't enough as TCU dropped a 3-1 decision to Utah on Thursday night at Ute Field. Reynolds, a Houston native, drove a ball from about 40 yards over the top of Utah goalkeeper Hannah Turpen in the 83rd minute to net her first career goal and bring the scoreboard to 3-1 in favor of the Utes.
Overall, TCU outshot the Utes, 20-17, including 15-7 in the second half. Torda recorded five shots on Thursday night, while Calhoun and Karoly chipped in with three apiece.
Kelsey Walters recorded two saves at Ute Field, while Turpen posted seven on Thursday.
With the loss, TCU moved to 8-7-0 overall and 1-3-0 in the MWC, while Utah improved to 7-7-2 overall and 2-1-1 in the conference.
