Think Pink Night in New Mexico

TCU totaled 17 shot attempts, but dropped a 1-0 decision to New Mexico on Saturday night at the UNM Soccer Complex.
Early in the match, it appeared as if junior Jackie Torda put the Horned Frogs on the board, but her shot in the 25th minute sailed wide of the net. NM's Jennifer Williams netted the lone goal of the match in the 47th minute off a cross from Alexis Ball.

On defense, TCU, who held the Lobos scoreless during the first half, tallied seven saves, including four in the second half.
With the loss, the Horned Frogs moved to 7-5-0 overall and 0-1-0 in the Mountain West Conference, while New Mexico improved to 9-1-2 overall and 1-0-0 in conference play.
The Horned Frogs will next be in action at home against Air Force on Thursday, Oct. 8. Start time for the match is set for noon at Garvey-Rosenthal Soccer Stadium.
